1 is the system OK LED and is green. Callout 2 is the

system fault LED and is amber. One or both of these two LEDs can be

at any time.

When the green system OK LED is O

, it indicates that the enclosure

is operational. This LED can be O

N

as long as a minimum number of

redundant components (such as blowers or power supplies) are
functioning correctly.

If the amber system fault LED is O

N

, it indicates one or more

components have an error or fault condition. To isolate an error
condition, observe the status LEDs on the EMU, PVA, power
supplies, disk drive SBBs, and array controllers. These component
status LEDs are discussed under Controller Shelf Status Indicators
later in this chapter. Table 2–7 lists possible enclosure status LED
displays.
