Notes:

If the DKC emulation type is 2105 or 2107, the setting of the system option mode 308 determines whether the SIM
is reported to the host, as explained below:

When system option mode 308 is set to ON, the SIM is reported to the host.

When system option mode 308 is set to OFF, the SIM is not reported to the host. By default, system option mode
308 is set to OFF.

Enabling or disabling SIM reporting

You can enable or disable the reporting of SIMs to the host.

To enable or disable SIMs reporting to the host

In Remote Web Console click Actions > Remote Copy > Continuous Access Journal Z > Optional
Operation.

Click

to change the mode from View to Modify.

Select LDKC in the tree. The list displaying on the right-side shows whether or not SIMs are
reported.

You can change the SIM reporting setting for all CUs, or for one CU.

To change the setting for all CUs, right-click LDKC in the tree and select Change SIM
Report.

To change the setting for one or more (but not all) CUs, select one or more CU in the list
on the right-side pane, right-click, and select Change SIM Report.

The changes you made display in the Preview list. To delete a change, right-click and select
Delete.

When you right click the Preview list, the Modify command is unavailable.

6.

Click Apply when ready.

To see information about any error during this operation, right-click the error code and then select
Error Detail. An error message appears with information about the error.
