B Regulatory compliance notices

This appendix contains regulatory notices for the library.

Regulatory compliance identification numbers

For the purpose of regulatory compliance certifications and identification, this product has been

assigned a unique regulatory model number. The regulatory model number can be found on the

product nameplate label, along with all required approval markings and information. When requesting

compliance information for this product, always refer to this regulatory model number. The regulatory

model number is not the marketing name or model number of the product. Product specific information:

Battery statements

WARNING!

This product contains three Lithium batteries located on removable circuit boards:

The e2400-FC 2Gb interface controller card has a Dallas Semiconductor real-time clock P/N

DS17887-3 with an internal Lithium battery.

The e2400-FC 4Gb interface controller card has a Dallas Semiconductor real-time clock P/N

DS17887-3 with an internal Lithium battery.

The Interface Manager card AS# 340252-001 has a CR2032 removable button cell battery.

The library robotics controller card RLC-66000061 has a CR2450 removable button cell battery.

Lithium may be considered a hazardous material. Dispose of these batteries in accordance with local,

state, and federal laws. In addition:

Do not attempt to recharge the batteries if removed from the cards.

Do not expose the batteries to water or to temperatures higher than 60ºC (140ºF).

Do not abuse, disassemble, crush, or puncture the battery.

Do not short external contacts or dispose of in fire or water.

Replace batteries only with designated HP spares.

Batteries, battery packs, and accumulators should not be disposed of together with the general household

waste. To forward them to recycling or proper disposal, please use the public collection system or return

them to HP, and authorized HP Partner, or their agents.
