Symptom

Possible cause

does not detect the

Incorrect IP address

Make sure that the correct IP address of the Interface

Manager card is entered in Command View TL.

properly connected to the interface controllers and

that the cables are good.

Make sure the tape drive is not powered off.

Troubleshoot the tape drive.

Reboot the library.
