CP-20 Fitted with disk drive
If the CP-20 is fitted with the disk drive or you have upgraded it with the drive then loading and saving shows is
very simple to do.
Saving a show to a disk
First, press “Menu” then using the "Å" and "Æ" keys go to the menu selection on the CP20 labeled
PRESS “ENTER” TO
SAVE MEMORY FILE
At this point make sure a blank disk is in the disk drive then press “Enter”. The screen will now display the
following message:
SAVING FILE TO DISK
0000
The four zeros at the bottom right of the screen will go up in value as the show is downloaded onto the disk.
Once completed the screen will display:
FILES HAS BEEN SAVED
TO DISK
If the screen displays the error message:
DISK EJECTED
then a disk has not been put into the drive. Any other error message refers to disk errors and a new disk must be
inserted. Note: the CP20 automatically names the show. Do NOT insert a disk with a show already stored on it
that you want to keep. If you save over it, you will loose the previous show file. The saved file is a .txt file which
can be saved on your computer. Please do not rely on the disk as you ultimate backup. Save the disk onto a
computer’s hard drive.
