Speaker Surround Options
Checking the Status
Information on the Centre
Unit Display
You can set up the speaker system while checking
the status information on the centre unit display.
The following information appears.
To turn down the brightness of the centre unit
display (DIMMER)
Set the AMP/DVD switch to AMP, and press
DIMMER. The centre unit display darkens
(“ON”) and brightens (“OFF”) with each press.
“ ; DIGITAL”
(Dolby Digital),

Indicates the current audio
signal format.
“ ; PL” (Dolby Pro
Logic), “ ; PLII”
(Dolby Pro LogicII),
“DCS”
Indicates the current
surround format (page 85).
“LINK” Lights up when a 2
channel source is output
from the surround
speakers (page 86).
“DSGX” Lights up when DSGX is
activated (page 87).
“A/V SYNC” Lights up when A/V SYNC
is activated (page 88).
“L,” “C,” “R,” “SL,”
“SW,” “SR” Lights up to indicate the
speaker you are adjusting.
