• The “Memory Stick Duo” is damaged.
• The “Memory Stick Duo” is not

formatted correctly (p. 62, 77).

(Warning indicators pertaining to

unsupported “Memory Stick Duo”)*

• A “Memory Stick Duo” that cannot be

used in your VCR is inserted (p. 77).

to the write-protect of the “Memory
Stick Duo”)*

• The write-protect tab on the “Memory

Stick Duo” is set to lock (p. 77).

* You hear a melody when the warning indicators

appear on the screen (p. 63).

If messages appear on the screen, follow the
instructions.

few times. If even then the indicator
flashes, the “Memory Stick Duo” might
be damaged. Try with another
“Memory Stick Duo.”

This Memory Stick is not

formatted correctly.

• Check the format, then format the

“Memory Stick Duo” with your VCR if
necessary (p. 62, 77).

Memory Stick folders are full.

• You cannot create folders exceeding

999MSDCF. You cannot delete created
folders using your VCR.

• You will have to format the “Memory

Stick Duo” (p. 62), or delete them using
your computer.

Check the connected device.

• Switch off the printer and switch it on

again, then disconnect the USB cable
and reconnect it.
