counter clockwise direction (Fig G.).

Stop when the resistance increases.

Position the can holder (2) on the base

of the water pan. The work side should

be facing forward (Fig. G).

• Push the can holder with its slots (2)

underneath the nuts (8) found in the

base of the water tray until the nuts are

positioned at the end of the slots (9)

(Fig. G).

• Tighten the nuts (8) by hand in a

clockwise direction and make sure that

the can holder (2) is firmly fixed in

place (Fig. G).

CHAFING DISH MODELS CDRT-A, CDRT-

V, CDROUND-A, CDSOP-A, CDROUND-V

and CDSOP-V:

Remount the water pan (5) in its frame.

In the case of round water pans, pay

special attention to the positioning

fasteners to avoid incorrect mounting.

• Fill the water tray (5) with approximately

.5 cm of hot water (60-70º C) (Fig. E).

Do not over fill. When the food pans

are in place, they should not have any

contact with the water below. Check

the water level every time the food pan

is changed (3). Preheat the porcelain

food pans to 70-00º C before putting

food in them.

• Put the support frame back in place (4)

(Fig. A), if it has one.

• Fasten the lid () horizontally (facing

the lid handle) and check that the

positioning is correct (the “R” or “L” on

top should be visible from the working

side of the Chafing Dish). Place the lid

() on the two juts simultaneously (2)

(Fig. F).

• Make sure that both sides of the lid ()

are sitting properly in place and that it

can be easily opened and closed (Fig.

K). Close the lid.

Close the lid.

CDR-E:

Remount the water pan (5) in the frame.

6.3 Handling the heating cans

Placement:

Use Fagor Ethanol or Methanol heating

cans.

• Carefully remove the lid from the can

using an appropriate tool (for example,

a screwdriver) (Fig. I) and place the

open cans in the can holder (2) under

the Chafing Dish. Open the can holder

towards one side.

• Light the heating can with a match.

Danger

The heating can cases are firmly

supported only when the can

holder is installed. Never leave

the cans to burn unsupervised

directly on the table or any other

base. The cans could be moved and fall

from the table or base when the lid () is

opened. They can fall or tip over. Danger

of fire.

Extinguishing the flame:

Close the can holder cover. Caution:

Very Hot!! The flame will go out after a

short time. The can may also be left to

burn until it is empty.

Caution

Very hot parts! The can

and the area around it can

continue being very hot during

a period of time even after

the flame is extinguished. Let it cool before

handling. Danger of burns.
