8.
Loosen
the
four
captive
screws
on
the
corners
of
the
heatsink.
Twist
the
heatsink
slightly
to
break
the
seal
between
the
heatsink
and
the
processor.
9.
Lift
the
heatsink
from
the
processor.
If
it
does
not
pull
up
easily,
twist
the
heatsink
again.
Do
not
force
the
heatsink
from
the
processor.
Doing
so
could
damage
the
processor.
10.
Push
down
on
the
lever
attached
to
the
processor
socket.
While
holding
the
lever
down,
pull
it
towards
the
center
of
the
board
to
disengage
the
lever
from
the
hook.
Fully
open
the
lever.
11.
Push
down
on
the
rear
tab
of
the
load
plate
to
swing
the
front
of
the
load
plate
up
slightly.
Fully
open
the
load
plate.
12.
Lift
the
processor
from
the
socket.
13.
Store
the
processor
in
appropriate
packaging
materials.
14.
Install
the
protective
cover
over
the
load
plate
if
a
replacement
processor
will
not
be
installed.
Install
the
second
processor
air
dam
if
permanently
removing
the
second
processor.
