THE FUNCTION OF THE GREEN LAMP AND THE ORANGE LAMP
If the green lamp or the orange lamp on the right of the viewfinder lights,
goes off or blinks, it indicates the following.

TAKING PICTURES
The autofocus has brought
the subject into focus.

• Subject is not in focus.

• Problem with card.
Card not inserted / No
space on card / Card
cover is open / Write
protect seal on card
• Image is being
processed.
Flash is charged.
Flash is ready to fire.
(half-pressed)
• Flash is charging.
• Warning of camera
movement.
• The flash is set to OFF
[ ] in the low-light
situation.

Reading or writing to card
in progress.
Batteries are exhausted.
You can take a picture.
You can take a picture, but
it may not be in focus.
You can not take a picture.
Check the SmartMedia
card.

Resume shooting after the
green lamp goes off.

If you press a shutter
button, the flash will fire.
