4.2.3 Policy Configuration
Every Policy has three profiles, Firewall Profile, Specific Route Profile, and Schedule Profile as well as
Bandwidth
setting for that policy and for individual clients.

Firewall Profile
Click the hyperlink of Setting for Firewall Profile, the Firewall Profiles list will appear. Click the numbers of
Filter Rule Item
to edit individual rules and click Apply to save the settings. The rule status will show on the list.
Check “Active” to enable that rule.
Rule Item:
This is the rule that you have selected.
Rule Name:
The rule name can be changed here.
Enable this Rule:
After checking this function, the rule will be enabled.
Action:
There are two options, Block and Pass. Block is to prevent packets from passing and Pass is to permit
packets passing.
Protocol:
There are three protocols to select, TCP, UDP and ICMP, or choose ALL to use all three protocols.
