Speed setting

The rotation is set using the "Speed" knob. On the display "Speed rpm" the speed is shown
in rpm (revolutions per minute).

By pressing the Start Stop button the rotation is started. The LED next to the Start Stop
button indicates that it is switched on. Press once again to stop the rotation.

CAUTION: for safety reasons, start rotation at low speeds. Rotational speed can be
increased during operation.
Never exceed a speed of 100 rpm, while working with a 20 l evaporation flask.

If rotation does not start with the START/STOP key, please check for illumination of one or
more of the Safety Cover, Flask Support or Rotation Stop LED’s.
If this occurs check if the enclosure is open, flask support not in one of its extreme positions,
or the drive drive lock engaged.
