The EEPROM in the sniffer line is defective

Contact INFICON customer service.

The interface to the sniffer line does not function
correctly.

– Check the connection of sniffer line to basic unit

(separate and reconnect; try another sniffer line, if
possible).

– If the problem still exists, contact INFICON customer

service.

with the sniffer line

– The interface to the sniffer line does not function

reliably.

– Possible electrical sources of disturbance close

by.

– Check the connection of sniffer line to basic unit

(separate and reconnect; try another sniffer line, if
possible).

– Eliminate sources of disturbance

– If the problem still exists, contact INFICON customer

service.

No response from the sniffer line

fective.

W140 Acceleration of the probe was perma-

nently too high within the last 5 minutes

– The sniffer line is not lying still.

– Defect in the sniffer line.

– Place the sniffer line on a steadier surface.

– Contact INFICON customer service.

W151 No connection to operating unit

Internal connection problems between the basic
unit and the operating unit.

Contact INFICON customer service.

W163 COOL-Check is not connected

COOL-Check is not connected or not connected cor-
rectly.

– Connect a COOL-Check, otherwise confirm the warn-

ing and calibrate externally.

– Check the COOL-Check connection.

W164 Checksum error in COOL-Check

– The COOL-Check is not connected correctly.

– The COOL-Check or the basic unit is defective.

– Check the COOL-Check connection.

– Check the connection of the COOL-Check to basic unit

(separate and reconnect; try another COOL-Check, if
possible).

– If the problem still exists, contact INFICON customer

service.
