Remove the old V-belt

Push the Motor forward to

loosen the V-belt

(N)

Tighten the Motor Adjustment

Strap using a 9/16-inch wrench to

remove slack

(P)

Repeat steps N and O until

proper V-belt tension is achieved

(Q)

Tighten the Motor Mounting

Bolts using a 1/2-inch Wrench

(R)

Install the Belt Guard

Continue Adjustment

Until Correct

Direction of push

Rotate counter-

clockwise to loosen

1/2-inch

Rotate clockwise

to tighten

Check Tension 1/2-

way between pulleys

(O)

Check the V-belt for proper

tension if the tension is

correct, go to step R (Proper

tension 1/8-inch deflection)

Rotate clockwise

to tighten

Install the new V-belt MK Part

Old V-belt

Verify the V-belt is seated in the

grooves of both pulleys
