When the scanner is triggered, the scan beam is
active until:
1. a label is decoded
2. the trigger is released
3. the scan beam timeout period has elapsed
If the No Read Message is enabled, case 2 and 3 will
cause the scanner to substitute NR (No Read) for the
bar code data in the host message.
