When using the tag editor (table editor format) for PROFIBUS DP
tags, note the following:
•
The Node Name field is set to PROFIBUS_DATA_TABLE
•
The Update Frequency field is set to a default of 1 and cannot be
changed.
Tag Addressing
Use the following format when assigning PanelView tag addresses
for PROFIBUS DP communications:
PXA:W/B
Indicates PROFIBUS
Address
I = Input to PROFIBUS DP Master
O = Output from PROFIBUS DP Master Word Level Address
Bit Level Address
0 = Real Time Data Address
1-127 = Multiplex Data Block
