Verify Reservoir Mount Holes
For models 3PYP and 3PYPA, continue at “Prepare
Fan(s)” on page 31.
Planters manufactured in 2012 and earlier need to have
PTO oil reservoir mount holes added to the hitch side
plates.
Refer to Figure 25, Figure 26 or Figure 27,
showing left hand plates - the RH side is mirror image
25. Inspect both hitch side plates for two sets of

inch) through-holes above and to the
rear of the hitch height adjustment holes.
If the holes are present, continue at “Prepare
Fan(s)” on page 31.
Drill Mount Holes
26. Mark hole locations on each side of the hitch. The
lateral location is relative to the vertical center-line
of the hitch adjustment holes. The vertical location
is relative to a horizontal edge that varies by tongue
style.
27. Drill pilot holes, then finish holes.
