Install Oil Reservoir

Determine Reservoir Location

Refer to Figure 45
68. Determine the reservoir mounting location based on

the kit:

Reservoir on Tongue

These instructions apply to pull-type planters. For other
configurations see page referenced from table above.

The tongue location is used with pull-type planters,
having either the standard 3-point hitch or the optional
hydraulic hitch.

69. Select the reservoir, one of:

401-970L YP30,40 HYD RES ASSY

401-971L YP12,16,44 HYD RES ASSY

401-973L YP24A YD RES ASSY

and four sets new:

802-128C HHCS 1/2-13X2 GR5

804-016C WASHER FLAT 1/2 SAE PLT

804-015C WASHER LOCK SPRING 1/2 PLT

803-020C NUT HEX 1/2-13 PLT

Secure the reservoir, sight gauge side forward to
the tongue using any four of the six bolt holes in the
lower weldments.

Continue at “Reinstall Compressor(s)” on page 41.
