Leveling the Drill

20 Series Opener Height

Refer to Figure 5
Using 3-point hitch, initially adjust drill so bottom of
opener tool bar tube runs 24in above ground when drill
is lowered in the field.

Refer to Figure 6
Note: When drill is level, parallel links will be running

slightly uphill towards the front.

The 1in dimension shown is a general dimension that
will vary with planting conditions.

Make sure the opener mount is running higher than the
opener body. This will ensure an ample reserve for opener
up-float in case the opener strikes a rock or other object.

25 Series Opener Height

Refer to Figure 7
Using 3-point hitch, initially adjust drill so bottom of
opener tool bar tube runs 26in above ground when drill
is lowered in the field.

Note: When drill is level, parallel links will be running lev-

el or slightly uphill towards the front.

The 1-inch dimension shown is a general dimension that
will vary with planting conditions.
