Baffle Kits
These contoured polymer inserts block seed flow to
inactive row units and prevent pile-up, assuring that
seed will be evenly distributed to active rows.
Kits include all required inserts, plugs, straps, gaskets
and fasteners.
Seed Tube Plug
This plug stops seed flow from the seed box at the top of
a seed tube. It prevents flow independently of the sliding
gate at the meter (which only works when a meter is
present, and won’t prevent seed from filling the seed
tube). Order one per row to set inactive.
Although seed tube plugs stop flow to inactive rows at
the seed box, the plugs do not prevent accumulation of
seed piles inside the seed box at inactive rows. Use a
baffle to ensure loaded seed reaches active rows. Baffle
kits include any necessary seed tube plugs.
Weight Bracket Kit
The optional weight bracket kit is used to add standard
“suitcase” weights to the drill frame, increasing the
amount of down-force available to row units, and improv-
ing gauge wheel ground contact.
