Seed and Fertilizer Capacity
The 3S-3000F is equipped with standard dividers that par-
tition the drill boxes into 59.6-bu. seed compartments and
37.6-bu. fertilizer compartments. This ratio is suitable for
many common applications.
If you require greater seed or fertilizer capacity, optional
offset dividers, part number 817-322C, allow you to
change the ratio. To install or remove the dividers, refer to
Figure 3-25.
4. Lift the lid assembly (8) out of the drill box. Lift the di-
viders (9) out of the drill box. Reinstall the standard or
offset dividers. Figure 3-26 shows the proper position-
ing for the dividers to achieve different ratios.
5. Reinstall lid assembly by reversing steps 1, 2 and 3.

1. Remove the 5/16-in. bolts (1) and flange nuts (2) from
the tabs (3) at each end of the drill box.
2. Remove the 5/16-in. bolts (4) and nuts (5) from the lid
hinge brackets (6).
3. Loosen but do not remove the 1/4-in bolts (7) and nuts
that clamp the lid assembly (8) angle irons to the plas-
tic dividers (9).
