Steps:
This installation presumes that the original bearing
is still in place.
1. Add a lock collar ( or ) to that shaft
before installing the clutch. Do not secure set
screws until all clutches are installed and shaft
is in its final position.
2. Add the clutch assembly to the shaft, with
anti-rotation bolt forward and the cylinder
up. Loop meter chain (not shown) over sprocket
on clutch.
3. Loosen the nuts securing the bearing
flangettes
at the bearing support plate.
4. Slide the shaft through the bearing.
5. Add a RH lock collar ( or ) if specified on
the clutch layout drawing.
