Printer does not sound an alarm.

Single*

Printer sounds three quick beeps.

Continuous Printer repeats three beeps every 10 seconds.

Toner Alarm

Purpose:

To specify how the printer responds when it is out of toner.

Values:

Off*

An error message is displayed until someone replaces the toner cartridge. If an Auto
Continue value is selected from the Setup Menu, the printer resumes printing after the
specified timeout value.

Single

Printer stops printing, displays an error message, and sounds three quick beeps.

Continuous Printer stops printing, displays an error message, and repeats three beeps every 10 seconds

until the toner cartridge is replaced.

Asset Tag

Purpose:

The asset tag number is used for printer inventory records. Enter the asset tag number that is assigned to
the printer.

NOTE:

The Asset Tag menu item is only available through the Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool. For

Dell Service Tag

Purpose:

The service tag number is required when calling for service. Enter the service tag number from the label on
the back of the printer.
