IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
We recommend that this performance part be installed by a qualifi ed
motorcycle technician. If you have any doubts as to your ability to install
this performance part, please consult with your local motorcycle dealer.
Read all instructions fi rst before starting installation. Make sure the
motorcycle and exhaust system are completely cool before starting the
installation. Also, make sure the bike is secure on a centerstand or ideally
a service lift during installation. Be sure to save all stock components for
possible use later.
Installation Instructions
1. Make sure the bike is completely cool before starting the
installation. Make sure the bike is secure on a centerstand
or ideally a service lift.
2. Remove right side lower fairing bolts and pull lower
fairing out from push fi t connector.
3. Loosen muffl er clamp at headpipe joint.
4. Remove the 3 muffl er mounting bolts.
5. Remove OEM muffl er assembly.
6. Remove rear peg set from right side.
7. Apply a small amount of the supplied thredlock to the
included 8x55mm socket head cap screw, and join the top
muffl er mounting bracket piece with it’s base as shown.
8. Apply a small amount of the supplied threadlock to one of
the included 8x16mm socket head cap screws and install
TBR muffl er mounting bracket to right side rearset using
the optional peg position mounting holes. You may need
to reach through from the left side of the bike in order to
tighten the screws.
9. Apply a small amount of the supplied threadlock to the 4
(four) 6x14mm Socket Head Cap Screws. Use the 6x14mm
Socket Head Cap Screws to loosely join the s-bend to
muffl er. Do night tighten yet.
10. Slide the barrel clamp over s-bend and join to headpipe.
Do not tighten yet.

The third muffler mounting
bolt is located behind the
lower fairing on the left side
of the bike.
NOTE: The extra 8x16mm socket head cap screw is
supplied for the rearset lower mounting bolt if the
optional peg position is being used.
