IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
We recommend that this performance part be installed by a qualified
motorcycle technician. If you have any doubts as to your ability to install this
performance part, please consult with your local motorcycle dealer. Read all
instructions first before starting installation. Make sure the motorcycle and
exhaust system are completely cool before starting the installation. Also,
make sure the bike is secure on a centerstand or ideally a service lift during
installation. Be sure to save all stock components for possible use later.
Installation Instructions
1. Make sure the bike is completely cool before starting the
installation. Make sure the bike is secure on a centerstand
or ideally a service lift.
2. Remove left and right side muffler assembly.
3. Remove rear right side lower cover bolt to expose catalyst
bolts.
4. Remove catalyst cover. Remove O2 Sensor then catalyst.
5. Install TBR muffler to slip-tubes shown using the supplied
2-piece X-Ring and bolts with lock washers, keep loose for
now.
6. Install muffler assembly to motorcycle using the supplied
barrel clamp at header joint and rubber lined muffler clamp
securing muffler to standard mounting position. Use the
supplied black socket head flat screw and countersunk
washer with OEM nut to secure in place. keep loose for now.
**You must remove the left side mounting hardware from
the left side to prevent loss during riding. The rubber mount
may remain in place if you wish.
7. Re-install O2 into Slip-tube bung.
