The ignition must be turned OFF before installation.
1 Remove the seat.
2 Remove the rubber cover and the plastic cover over the battery and throttle body as
shown in Figure A.
3 Unplug the grey 2-pin stock wiring harness connector from the injector as shown in
Figure B.
This connector is located on top of the throttle body.
4 Unplug the black 5-pin stock wiring harness from the throttle position sensor (TPS)
as shown in Figure C.
The TPS connector is located on the lower left side of the throttle body.
