Take care not to splash water

into the battery chamber or onto

the NiCd batteries.

When changing batteries, be sure not to

accidentaiiy spiash water into the battery
chamber or onto the NiCd battery unit
SN-104. if water has been spiashed, wipe it
away immediateiy. Nikon recommends

keeping the batteries in the piastic case

provided untii they are needed.

If a iot of water enters the battery chamber,

the moisture aiert iight wiii iight up and the

Speediight wiii stop working. Remove the
battery from the chamber and take the
Speediight to a Nikon service center with

the chamber’s cover open.

If the Speediight gets soiled...

Use a biower to remove dust first, and

then wipe the Speediight ciean with a soft,
dry cioth.

Do not use thinner, benzine, or other active

agents.

Never disassemble the Speediight.

Never disassemble or remodel the Speediight
if damaged.

The Speediight houses a high-voltage

circuitry which is very dangerous. Take the

Speediight to a Nikon service center if
damaged.
