To establish bottom rod length,
measure the distance from the slot
in the carriage to the floor or
threshold (XX") and add 5/8".

Insert rod into bottom bolt.
Align holes in rod and bolt that will result in
overall length closest to dimension needed.
Adjust threaded hexbolt at opposite end of
rod for fine adjustment of length.
Mark location on rod where it meets the bolt
and/or tape bolt in position.
