Setting the speaker impedance

Caution

If you are to use 6 ohm speakers, set “SP IMP.” to

“6Q MIN” as follows BEFORE using this unit. 4 ohm
speakers can be also used as the front speakers.

Make sure this unit is turned off.

Refer to the right column for details.

Press and hoid ©TONE CONTROL on the

front panel and then press ©STANDBY/ON

inward to the ON position to turn on this unit.

This unit turns on, and the advanced setup menu
appears in the front panel display.

Turning this unit on and off

■ Turning on this unit

Press ©STANDBY/ON on the front panel to turn

on this unit.

When you turn on thi-s unit, there will be a 4 to 5-second delay
before this unit can reproduce sound.

■ Set this unit to the standby mode

Press ©STANDBY/ON (or ©STANDBY) to

set this unit to the standby mode.

[n the standby mode, this unit consumes a small amount of

power in order to receive infrared signals from the remote
control.

Rotate the ©PROGRAM selector on the

front panel to select “SP IMP.”.

“SP IMP.” and the current speaker impedance setting
(“80 MIN”) appear in the front panel display.
