3.10 Unpacking and Installing the Unit
Unpacking Instructions
1. Remove the outer shipping carton from the water heater.
2. Remove the lower front cover “A” at front of the unit by pulling it forward to access and
remove the screw and washer “B” (Figure 3-3).

3. Remove the screw and washer “C” at the rear of the unit (Figure 3-4).
