Door liners
and gaskets

Sponge, soft cloth,
or paper towel with

mild detergent and

warm water

• Wash, wipe, and dry thoroughly.

DO NOT USE cleaning waxes, concen­

trated detergents, bleaches or cleaners
containing petroleum on plastic parts.

Plastic parts

(covers and

Soft, clean sponge
or soft, clean cloth

with mild detergent
and warm water

• Wash, wipe, and dry thoroughly.

DO NOT USE paper towels, window
sprays, scouring cleansers, or

flammable fluids. These can scratch or

damage materiai. See “Important
Safety Instructions” on page 3.

Defrost pan

Sponge or cloth
with mild detergent
and warm water

• Remove base grille. (See page 17.)
• Reach into small opening at right edge

and remove the defrost pan.

• Wash, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
• Replace defrost pan. Make sure to push

it completely into the opening.

• Replace base grille.

Condenser
coils

Vacuum cleaner
with extended
narrow
attachment

• Remove base grille.

• Vacuum coils when dusty or dirty. Coils

may need to be cleaned as often as
every other month.

• Replace base grille.

Floor under
refrigerator

Floor cleaners

• Roll refrigerator out only as far as the

water supply line allows.

• Clean floor.
• Roll refrigerator back into place.
• Check to see if the refrigerator is level.

Short holidays

No need to shut off the refrigerator if you will
be away for less than four weeks.

1. Use up any perishables.

2. Freeze other items.

3. Raise ice maker signal arm to OFF

(up) position.

4. Shut off water supply to ice maker.

5. Empty the ice bin.
