Method

UJ Disengage upper knife.

Draw guidelines for pintuck on the right side of the fabric.

(T) Right side

With wrong sides together, fold fabric along the line
drawn. Then serge the folded edge, guiding it along the
guideline on the needle plate.
(T) Right side

3] Repeat for additional pintucks. Be sure to sew each

tuck in the same direction.
® Right side

Return upper knife to engaged position.

Engage upper knife.

Press tucks fiat and in the same direction.

NOTE

Use pearl cotton, embroidery thread or metallic thread in
upper looper for ornamental pintucks.
