Introduction
The Allegro DOS is designed to meet the needs of a user collecting
data with a hand-held computer in a rugged fi eld environment using
a MS-DOS operating system. This chapter of the manual describes
the unique hardware components of the Allegro, including the case,
keyboard, display, communication ports, batteries, PC card slot, and
expansion pod.
