3. Tap on the drop-down box under Store Info: and select DSK2:
PCMCIA/Compact Flash Device.
❖ Important Note: Do not select DSK1. The DSK1 is your C_Drive.
Formatting it will erase all of your Allegro applications as well as your
entire operating system. If you attempt to format DSK1 (your C_Drive) the
following warning appears:
Make sure you select No when this message appears.
4. Tap on the Dismount button. Dismounting the PC card allows you
to format it.
Each time a PC card is placed in the Allegro, it automatically
mounts, or loads, all the necessary items you need to access the
card. When mounted, the card is unable to be formatted. If you
attempt to format the PC card, you will get this error message:
5. Tap on Yes to continue the formatting of the PC card. Tapping on
No cancels the formatting process.
