Figure 7: Call-me-First mode

To use both call modes, you must configure an Outgoing Call Service DN

in your MCC 3100 system settings. For more information, see

“Advanced Configuration settings” on page 34.

Note: To place an emergency call, press the green Talk button on

your BlackBerry. The Native dialpad is activated, so you can dial the

emergency number (for example, 911).

Call Intercept

The MC 3100 can intercept calls made from the native BlackBerry dialer,
so that calls can go through the MCG 3100. Use the IM/Call Settings

pane to control use of the native BlackBerry dialer. The pane displays the

status of the feature. Select the Call Intercept entry to toggle the feature.

When Call Intercept on displays, the MCG 3100 intercepts calls

made from the native BlackBerry dialer.

When Call Intercept off displays, calls route from the native

BlackBerry dialer without MCG 3100 interaction.
