THE ADJUSTABLE HEMMER
WIDE HEMMING
To make a hem more than ^ inch wide,
loo&en thumb screw in hemmer and move
scale to right as far as it will go, then
swing it toward you as shown and tighten
thumb screw. Fold and crease down a
hem of the desired width, pass fold under
extension at right of hemmer, and the
edge into folder as shown and proceed to
atitch the hem.
