1. Getting to know your instrument

This blood pressure measuring device meets the high

standards of the German High Blood Pressure League and

carries the seal of the German High Blood Pressure League.

Further information at www.paritaet.org/hochdruckliga.

The upper arm blood pressure monitor is used for non-invasive

measurement and monitoring of adults’ arterial blood pressure.

You can use it to measure your blood pressure quickly and eas-

ily, storing the results and displaying the progression of readings

together with the average.

A warning is issued for anyone suffering from cardiac arrhythmia.

The values determined are classified and graphically evaluated

according to WHO guidelines.

Additionally, this blood pressure monitor includes a haemody-

namic stability indicator, which will subsequently be referred to

as a resting indicator. This shows whether the circulatory sys-

tem is sufficiently at rest when taking a blood pressure meas-

urement and is therefore a more precise indicator of your rest-

ing blood pressure. Read more about this on page 21– 22.

Keep these instructions carefully for further use and also let

other users have access to them.
