unit switches off automatically after 1 minute.

6.3 Deleting the measured value memory

The measuring device must be switched off.

Remove the batteries from the battery compartment.

Simultaneously press the button [5] and the ON/OFF button [3] and hold them down.

Reinsert the batteries while holding down the buttons; pay attention to the correct polarity.

After inserting the batteries, continue holding down the button and the on/off button [3] for

another five seconds. "

6.4 Transferring measured values to a computer

The GL40 measuring system has a built-in computer interface [4] which you can use to transfer the

measured values stored in your unit to a computer. (For the position of the connection socket, see

p. 10).

Beurer blood glucose software is available as a free download at www.beurer.com.

For more information, please read the instructions for use of the blood glucose diary software (also

available to download). These contain all the information you require for the data transfer.

The GL40 monitor is also compatible with Diabass and SiDiary.

Note

• An effective evaluation is possible only if you have correctly set the date and time (see p. 14).

• It is not possible to take a measurement during the data transmission.

• The measurement data remain stored on the measuring device after being transferred to the computer.
