Lubrication
To maintain your DR Powerwolf in good working condition you need to provide
engine lubrication, wheel and cable lubrication. The transmission does not require
lubrication.
Supplies Needed:
§ #2 Lithium Grease
§ FLUID FILM
®
or comparable lubricant
WARNING!
Before performing any maintenance procedure, set the
parking brake, stop the engine, and disconnect the spark plug wire.
1. There is one grease fitting on
each rear wheel (Figure 10).
Grease these fittings with #2
lithium grease at least every
25 hours of operation per the
Maintenance Checklist on
page 17.
2. Use FLUID FILM
or
similar lubricant to lubricate
the brake lever and cable at
the operator's end, the
throttle lever and cable at
both ends, and the foot pedal
control linkage. Operate the
brake and throttle levers to
work lubricant into the
cables.
