Reading settings (option)
For a full function description of reading, see Reading Introduction on page 52. In the
‘reading settings’ menu it is possible to enable or disable the Optical Mark Recognition
(OMR) function and to adjust the basic settings. The first ‘reading settings’ menu covers
the following settings:
• Code type: default is the setting ‘none’: reading is disabled.
Change the setting with the button. The following code is possible:
- 1-track OMR
By pressing the button the next reading settings menu appears.
In this menu you can define:
• the location of the OMR code. See OMR Code Description on page 55 for the correct
location.
• the maximum number of sheets. Use the arrow buttons to select the maximum amount
of sheets in the set of documents. The maximum number that can be entered here
is 5.
