General
General The Fronius Power Control Card is an opti-
onal plug-in card. It is used for limiting the
maximum output power of a photovoltaic
system in accordance with power supply
company specifications.
Power supply companies can use a ripple
control signal receiver as required to spe-
cify four different limit levels.
The Fronius Power Control Box transfers
the incoming information to the photovoltaic
system inverters, which then independently
adjust the output power accordingly.
The Fronius Power Control Card can be installed prior to delivery or retrofitted in the invert-
er according to customer requirements.
Proper use The Power Control Card is intended only for installation in specific Fronius inverters. You
can find further information in the section entitled "Prerequisites for operation of the Fronius
Power Control Card".
Utilisation not in accordance with the intended purpose includes:

utilisation for any other purpose or in any other manner
- making any modifications to the Power Control Card that have not been expressly ap-
proved by Fronius
Fronius shall not be liable for any damage resulting from such action.

following all the instructions in the operating instructions for the Fronius Power Control
Card and the inverter
- installing the Fronius Power Control Card in accordance with the section entitled "In-
serting option cards" in the inverter operating instructions.
