Updating Windows XPE
To remain PCI-DSS compliant, Windows XPE must be updated with the latest security
patches.

From an internet-connected computer visit the Microsoft web site and locate the security
patches.

Download the required security patches and save the files to a CD or USB thumb drive.

Log on to CFN III as an administrator user and insert the CD or USB thumb drive.

Use explorer to view the files and double-click on each file to install the updates.
