5.4 Lifting and moving the pump
5.4.1 Lifting the complete unit
The pump can be delivered in several mounting
positions. The gear motor unit can be placed in a
vertical and horizontal position.

Applicable for both configurations, use the
through holes or tapped holes of the gear
reducer casing when lifting and transporting the
pump unit. Make sure that the load is properly
balanced and provide hooks, lifting systems and
cables suitable for the total mass of the pump
unit. The illustrations show the proper way to lift
the units.
The maximum ratings are shown in the table
below.
CAUTION
Do not use the eye bolts on the
motor when lifting the pump unit.
