Installing the router in a 19-inch rack
The procedures for installing an SR6604-X, SR6608-X, and SR6616-X router in a rack are similar. This
section uses an SR6604-X router as an example.
To install the router in a rack, you need mounting brackets and a rack shelf.
Installing cage nuts to the rack
1. Locate the installation position for the router and then install a rack shelf to the rack.
2. As shown in Figure 6 , align the bottom of the front mounting bracket with the rack shelf and mark
the installation positions of cage nuts on the front rack posts.
