Installing a CF card
1. Push the CF card eject button all the way into the slot, and make sure the button does not project
from the panel.
2. Insert the CF card into the slot following the direction shown in Figure 17 , and make sure it does
not project from the slot.

Installing optional components
Optional components (including the air filter and lightning protectors) are not provided with the router.
Purchase them if necessary.
Installing an air filter
Installing an air filter on an SR6604-X/SR6608-X
The methods for installing air filters on the SR6604-X and SR6608-X are the same. This section uses an
SR6608-X as an example.
To install an air filter:
1. Face the left side (side of the inlet vents) of the router.
2. Install the upper and lower slide rails on the chassis as shown in Figure 18 .
3. Use a Phillips screwdriver to fasten the fastening screws on the upper and lower slide rails.
