Configuring a combo interface

A combo interface is a logical interface that comprises an SFP port of a transceiver module and an RJ-45

Ethernet port. The two ports share one forwarding interface, so they cannot work simultaneously. When

you enable either port, the other port is automatically disabled. You can select to activate a port as

needed.
Use the display interface interface-type interface-number command to find out which port is an SFP port

and which port is an RJ-45 Ethernet port.

If the output includes "Media type is optical fiber," it means that the port is an SFP port. For example,
the following output shows that GigabitEthernet 5/0/1 is an SFP port.

If the output includes "Media type is twisted pair," it means that the interface is an RJ-45 Ethernet
