Shared Storage System
Follow these instructions if you are installing the NewsroomSuite software on
a system using shared storage, that is part of an Open SAN system or connected
to a K2 Server or to Network Attached Storage (NAS):
Once the computer reboots, NewsEdit sets up a News database to store your
news files and installs necessary drivers. A System Self Test then runs, testing
your software configuration and software versions. See the NewsShare
Technical Reference Guide (part number 071-8371) for details on the shared
news database.
