7.7.3 Installing the Contact Thermometer Connections

Requirements:
☐ The Transformer Compact Station must be anchored to the support surface (see Section 6.3, page 16).
☐ The grounding of the high-voltage transformer must be connected (see Section 7.7.1, page 29).
☐ The high-voltage transformer must be connected to the low-voltage power switch (see Section 7.7.1, page 29).
☐ The high-voltage transformer must be connected to the high-voltage connection area (see Section 7.7.2, page 30).
Procedure:
1. Using a cross-head screwdriver, unscrew the four screws (M4) of the cover.
2. Remove the cover with seal and safely store it along with the screws.
3. Insert the cable into the contact thermometer sideways.
4. Connect the cable to the terminal of the contact thermometer with screws, nuts and washers in accordance with the
circuit diagram (torque: 1.57 Nm).
5. Ensure that the connection is correctly made.
6. Mount the seal and cover and tighten all four screws using a cross-head screwdriver (torque: 1.4 Nm).
