Procedure:
1. Open the doors of the Transformer Compact Station.
2. Set the fan thermostat to a temperature below the ambient temperature.
☑ The fans start up.
✖ The fans do not start up?
• Contact the SMA Service Line.
3. Reset the fan thermostat to its original position.
4. Close the doors of the Transformer Compact Station.
10.3.6 Cleaning the Interior
Procedure:
1. Ensure that the Transformer Compact Station is disconnected.
2. Ensure that the seal of the switch cabinet is intact.
3. Remove dirt and dust from the interior of the switch cabinet and from all assemblies (e.g. low-voltage power switch).
4. Check the interior for leaks.
If leaks are present, eliminate them.
10.3.7 Checking the Seals
Procedure:
1. Check whether there is any damage to the seals in the sealing edges. Note: the sealing area is not visible when the
door is closed.
If seals are damaged, contact the SMA Service Line.

Danger to life from electric shock due to incorrectly disconnected Transformer Compact Station
If the Transformer Compact Station and its devices are not correctly disconnected, dangerous voltages may be present
in the components which, if touched, will result in death or serious injury.
• Disconnect the Transformer Compact Station from voltage sources (see Section 9, page 40).
• Ensure that the Transformer Compact Station and its devices are voltage-free.

If the Transformer Compact Station and its devices are not correctly disconnected, dangerous voltages may be present
in the components which, if touched, will result in death or serious injury.
• Disconnect the Transformer Compact Station from voltage sources (see Section 9, page 40).
• Ensure that the Transformer Compact Station and its devices are voltage-free.
