7.10 Final Installation Work
7.10.1 Sealing the Base Plates
Once installation work is completed, the base plates must be sealed. This will protect the Transformer Compact Station
from moisture ingress.
Additionally required mounting material (not included in the scope of delivery):
☐ Suitable material for sealing the base plates (e.g. putty)
Procedure:
• Seal the base plates of the Transformer Compact Station. Make sure not to damage the cable insulation.
7.10.2 Mounting the Protective Covers
Once installation work is completed or if protracted interruptions are anticipated during installation, the protective covers
must be mounted.
Procedure:
1. Mount the cross-beam at the high-voltage transformer with two screws (M8) and tighten the screws (torque: 12 Nm).
2. Mount the protective covers at the high-voltage connection area with six screws (M6) each and tighten the screws
(torque: 2.5 Nm).
3. Attach the protective cover for the connection area of the low-voltage power switch with four screws (M6) and
tighten the screws (torque: 5 Nm).
4. Attach the protective cover for the high-voltage connection area with four screws (M6) and tighten the screws
(torque: 5 Nm).
